Monstrously Mini Day 3: Favorite Candy/Treat

Monstrously Mini Day 3: Favorite Candy/Treat. This design is inspired by Wonka Nerds, which is what I always went for. I hate (and am allergic to) chocolate, so I usually tend to lean towards the more tart type of candy. That, or hot cinnamon type candy. Pretty much anything that gives you sour jaw or burns your tongue, because insanity rules my world (Warheads and Hot Tamales, what up?) Anyways, I actually came up with this design last year, but I never ended up taking pictures of it, so technically this a 2.0. Also this was such a pain in the rear to paint, because I had some mad hiccups. It took a bit longer, but I still think they turned out pretty darn cute. xx Sara

Monstrously Mini Day 2: Favorite Horror Story

These are my Monstrously Mini Day 2: Favorite Horror Story nails. Of course, I had to pick "It". Hello, it's great. Although I will admit, my clown does look a bit more pleasent than the original, but don't tell him that. I happen to be one day behind on this challenge, so I will be posting two on the same day. Hope you all enjoy! xx Sara

Monstrously Mini Day 1: Favorite Scary Movie

I have finally posted my Monstrously Mini: Day 1 challenge nails (which was meant to be posted yesterday, whoops!). These are inspired by the Saw movie series, which are some of my favorite horror films. I wouldn't say it's my all time favorite scary movie, but it's still pretty damn good. As many of you know, I am OBSESSED with horror films, so it was pretty hard to choose one. I was actually watching this movie specifically while deciding on what to paint, so that's what I ended up doing. There have been some amazing designs from you girls for this challenge so far, and I will be doing a master list of everyone's designs once the challenge is over. I hope you all have been having a good time keeping up with all of the participants' posts! xx Sara

Polish Party: Halloween Nails

Well there is a first time for everything. I believe this is the very first time that I have ever had my Polish Party design done before the inlinkz code was made. I might even be the first to post for this month, **snaps for sara**. Anyways, this month's Polish Party theme is 'Halloween', of course, with it being October and all. Last October, we had the same theme, so you can check out last year's design here. I wanted to do something a bit cuter than I usually do for this theme, considering I plan on my Monstrously Mini nails being a bit more gory and morbid. I will be hopefully posting my first design for that challenge tonight, so look forward to seeing that aswell. Like usual, I am super excited to see everyone's designs, and interpretations of the theme, and I will be keeping an eye out for them.

Our Halloween Challenge Is Finally Here!

Theimperfect10 and I are finally ready to announce 'The Monstrously Mini Halloween Nail Art Challenge!' We have been working together for the past week or so creating this challenge, and it's been a blast. We decided on the themes together and the challenge dates, she came up with the name, and i created the outline/proctor from scratch (which was really fun actually). We wanted a halloween challenge with themes that were a bit different from the usual ones, so this is what we came up with.

This is the challenge outline (which you can use along with your posts):

You can post your designs any time between October 19th and the 31rst. You can put them up everyday consecutively for seven days, or every other day, or whatever best fits into your schedule. Please tag your posts with the tag 'monstrouslymini' or '#monstrouslymini' (depending on what website you are using), so that everyone can find your designs easily.

Just for clarification, because i couldnt fit the descriptions on the outline,
2. your favorite horror story, can be inspired by anything from Stephen King's 'Pet Semetary', to Mary Shelly's 'Frankenstein', to an urban legend or a ghost story.
5. your favorite spooky song, could be like Michael Jackson's 'Thriller', 'The Monster Mash', etc.
6. your favorite creature, would be like a spider, cat, bat, ghost, etc.
7. your favorite creepy setting, is just the setting of your favorite horror movie/story, so like an asylum, grave yard, haunted mansion, and so on.

I will also be posting a list of all our challenge participants, along with links to their blogs/social media, on October 19th. You will be able to click on each participant's name and be directed to their blog, so that you can see what designs they have come up with for this challenge. If you want to join, just go ahead and let me know, and i will be looking forward to seeing what you all come up with.

Polish Party: Birthday Nails

So excited that we have made it a whole year with Polish Party! We started off with the first ten of us, i believe, and now we are at sixty, which is crazy! We've all made a bunch of friends through this, and you girls are absolutely amazing. I always look forward to everyone's nails every month, and you always give me positive feedback, which is so sweet. It's amazing that some of you are not only involved in my nail art, but also my day to day life. I hope you enjoy this month's theme, which is based on our 1 year anniversery/birthday. These are just some little party animals with balloons, party hats, cupcakes, and candles, i hope you like them.

Also, Rachel from TheImperfect10 and I, have created a Halloween nail art challenge, so you can look forward to hearing more about that in the near future. Thank you, xx Sara
